Anabel Jensen served for more than 10 years as Principal of Nueva School and is the co-founder of Six Seconds and Synapse School. She has also advised innovative schools focused on gifted education and social emotional learning, including Helios School— schools widely recognized for their innovative approaches to personalized learning, creativity, and whole-child education.

As education rapidly evolves in the age of AI and personalized learning, emotional intelligence has become one of the most essential skills for students, families, and future leaders. This event will explore how SEL helps children develop resilience, empathy, self-awareness, confidence, and the human-centered skills needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

We are launching a student-led Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Club initiative, bringing together students who want to lead conversations around mental well-being and create real impact in their communities.
Selected students will also have the opportunity to:

• Help host the event
• Participate in a live conversation with Anabel Jensen
• Collaborate with peers to co-found the EQ Club
